Heroics & Ros will be the new home of Adler Miniatures

Well 2 important announcements to make, in no particular order.

1) Heroics & Ros will be not be shipping order out between Monday 21 ^st July & Monday 29 ^th July. Any order currently with us should be dispatch before we close all being well. The web shop will still be open and order dispatch will resume on Tuesday 30 ^th July. Sorry for any problems this may cause.

2) Yes, is true Heroics & Ros will be the new home of the Adler range of figures. We have purchase the 6mm 10mm ranges and in addition will distribute the 20mm range. We are honour with the trust Leon has placed with us to look after his range and ensure a future for it. Adler will be completing all the existing order currently with them. Once this is completed the moulds will be moved and we can start production again. The aim is the have the ranges back up for sale at the beginning of October. I know many of you would like it quicker but having purchased a few companies now I know how much time it takes to absorb all the information a new range brings. To answer the question often asked on Sunday, no this doesn’t mean we will be stopping producing any of the current Heroics & Ros ranges. Everybody has the favourites and we aim to supply the ones your happy with.

Spring Holiday

Hello

I hope you are all well in these trying times, the Pandemic is still having an effect and the war in Ukraine, cost of living increases are effecting us all in different way.

So after nearly 3 years without a proper family holiday I have now decided to have next week off and go away with the family, I am tired and would like to spend some time just with my family.

The down side to being a small family business is this means there will be no dispatch of orders next week. The web shop will remain open and casting will still be happening but there will be no shipping and there may be no response to emails or phones calls.

I hope we can ship the majority of orders already placed especially those in stock by the end of this week but there may be some which don’t make it, so apologies for this Any orders place from now on probably won’t be shipped until after the 18 ^th April.

I hope you understand and I appreciate the patience of those whose orders will be delayed.

Covid -19 Update 3

Web shop UPDATE- 3 Covid-19

Firstly, I hope you and your families are all well and I would like to say a big thank you to all those who have worked through this period to help the sick and keep the country running.
It’s has been a while since our last update and now we are hopefully seeing a slow return to “normal” life though my feeling’s are that it will be different than before for many of us. What the future holds I am not sure but we have been thinking about how best to move Heroics & Ros forward. With the uncertainty around how long restrictions of some kind will last and the possibility of a second wave we have decide to reorganise our factory. This should allow us to use more of the equipment while still creating a safe working environment. It might not be 100% efficient but without a guaranteed end date to restrictions and a vaccine it seems sensible to find a way to increase casting capacity closer to normal rather than to keep opening and closing the shop or selling a restricted range of products.
We are reopening the shop on Monday 20th July. Ranges will be put back into stock gradually but unlike before once they are up, they will stay available. We will start with some of the smaller ranges to gradually build up rather than being overwhelmed on the first day.
I am sorry we have not been able to offer a full range of products over this period, with 2 young children to help look after and staff safety to consider I felt there was not really an alternative option. I really appreciate the nice emails, support and understanding shown to us by our customers.

The first range to be available is the 1/600th Coastal Forces

Covid -19 Update 2

I hope you and your families are coupling with the restrictions in place, please stay safe in these difficult times. I know having 2 young children at home with a much reduced range of places to take them to has created challenges for us as a family and without the support of my wife we would not be able to continue stay open.

Thank you for all the orders we have received, in fact we have had so many that we are going to have to close the shop for a day or two in order to finish these off. Then we will reopen with our all our WW2 range on line along with modern figures. The Coastal force range will still be available and we will put the Wars of the Roses range on line too, this will be over 2,000 items to choose from so hopefully there is something for all of you.

In a week or so we will then take these ranges off line and put something else up, things seem to be moving in the right direction slowly so with good luck we maybe able to increase our casting capacity and so increase the number of ranges available on the next opening cycle.

While the postal service is working it can be understandably a bit slow at times while they are all working hard with reduced staffing levels but, if you want to know about your about shipping to your country this site is very useful.

As always continuing to do business will of course depend on many things, government advice which currently is ‘you may work if it is safe to do so and this work cannot be done from home’, continued metal supply, continued access to the postal service, childcare availability and most importantly nobody getting ill.

I just want to add a big THANK YOU all those working in the NHS and others who are still working in these difficult times and keeping us going. There are worse things to be asked to do than stay inside even if it’s with the wife and two young children ��

Covid -19 Update

I hope you and your families are well, please stay safe in these difficult times and thank you all for your patience and understanding while we have been closed. We have spent the last weeks looking at how we can still operate, keep safe and help look after my young family at home. Covid-19 is impacting everyone and seems unlikely to disappear in the next few weeks so we have totally changed how we will be working with only one person in at a time, we will therefore be reducing the product ranges which will be available at any one time. The ranges being offered over the coming weeks will change so everyone will get a chance to purchase “their period”.

Currently you should find all the modern ranges available, WW2 figures both old and new style and our Dark age range available in the shop. In addition, our 1/600th Coast force range is there too, that’s nearly 1500 items to choose from, but if these are not for you, we will be swapping the available ranges on sale so keep checking back. I will post in the new section so it’s easy to find

We have approximately 30% casting capacity so orders will take time to process but we are hoping that concentrating our casting into smaller ranges will help with this. Posting in UK seem fine if understandably a little slow at times, same for most of European and US but there is currently a hold on mail to New Zealand due to lack of planes. If you want to know about your particular country this site is very useful.
